Thou Fool

A Certain celebrated man is said to have mapped out his life after the following fashion. Up to the age of twenty-five the years were to be spent in education. From that time until he was forty he would endeavour to make his fortune. From forty to fifty he resolved he would endeavour to distinguish himself, and, if possible, rise to fame. The period between fifty and sixty he made up his mind he would devote to literary pursuits. From sixty to seventy he would lead a quiet country life; and from seventy to the end of his life he would give up to religion and thoughts of eternity. So he planned out his life; but he died before reaching thirty.
