The Glory of Free Grace
God is so jealous of the glory of his free grace, that he will not save us, by any works, though of his own working in us, lest any man should boast. He knoweth when he healcth any man by physic, or maintained him by the labour of his hands; he is prone to attribute the glory rather to the means he has used, than to God's sole bounty and goodness.--Marshall.
